We left Pueblo and drove straight north, taking a small loop through Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It had been several years since either of us was there and we were there on the most glorious day! We then headed to Denver, where we decided to catch an afternoon Rockies game...Charlotte even got a ball! We had 2nd row seats and even though the sun was blazing, we all had a great time - no sunburns and no fussy kids! We then met up with Jonathan's 2 best friends from high school, Jared and Lenny, and Jared's daughter, Lily, who were also at the game. A kid-friendly dinner at Red Robbin wrapped up the day before we headed to Jared's house for the night. Charlotte and Lily were like long-lost friends! Actually, they met when they were just 5 months old when we got stuck in Denver on a Christmas Eve flight...it was fun to see them play and crack each other up!
